Product Description
Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a white, odorless, tasteless crystalline powder composed of extremely fine short rod-shaped or powdery porous particles that can flow freely. The main components are linear polysaccharides bound by β-1,4-glucosidic bonds. In general plant fibers, microcrystalline cellulose accounts for about 70%, and the other 30% is amorphous. Microcrystalline cellulose is widely used in cosmetics, food and other industries. Different particle sizes and moisture contents have different characteristics and application ranges.
Since cellulose widely exists in nature, hundreds of billions of tons of cellulose-rich biomass residues are produced globally every year. If these residues are well converted and utilized, they will be a rich resource
At present, Microcrystalline cellulose is widely used in food and beverage, light chemical and other industries as a
disintegrant and stable emulsifier.:
Food industry:
In the food industry, microcrystalline cellulose, as an edible fiber and an ideal health food additive, can maintain the stability of emulsions and foams, maintain high temperature stability, and improve the stability of liquids. It is used in dairy products, frozen foods, and meat. It is widely used in products, etc.
Cosmetics:
Microcrystalline cellulose can be used as an ingredient in the manufacture of a variety of cosmetics, skin treatment and care products, and cleaning detergents.
