Magnesium stearate, with the chemical formula C36H70MgO4, is an organic compound. It is a white, sandless fine powder that feels smooth when in contact with the skin. Insoluble in water, ethanol or ether, mainly used as lubricant, anti-sticking agent and glidant. It is especially suitable for granulating oils . The granules produced have good fluidity and compressibility.
