Acesulfame K is a food additive, also known as AK sugar. It is a white crystalline powder in appearance. It is an organic synthetic salt. Its taste is similar to sugar cane and it is easily soluble in water. High sweetness, cheap price; non-cariogenic; good heat and acid stability, it is the fourth generation of synthetic sweeteners in the world. It can produce a strong synergistic effect when mixed with other sweeteners, and the sweetness can be increased by 20%~40% in general concentration.
As a non-nutritive sweetener, acesulfame potassium is used in food and beverages in the general pH range, and its concentration basically does not change. It can be used in combination with other sweeteners, especially when combined with aspartame and cyclamate. It can be widely used in various foods such as solid beverages, pickles, candied fruit, gummies, and table sweeteners. This product has a strong sweetness, the sweetness is about 200 times that of sucrose, the taste property is similar to saccharin, and it has a bitter taste when it is high concentration.
