            BHT is an organic compound with the molecular formula C15H24O. Its appearance is odorless, tasteless and non-toxic white crystals. The color turns yellow when exposed to light and gradually becomes darker. It is also an antioxidant and is widely used in food and food-related products.

 

Product Parameters

                As an antioxidant, BHT can inhibit or delay the oxidative degradation of plastic or rubber and extend its service life. Prevent the acid value or viscosity of lubricating oil and fuel oil from rising. As a food additive, it can delay the rancidity of food. This product is also a stabilizer for synthetic rubber (styrene-butadiene, nitrile, polyurethane, butadiene, etc.), polyethylene, and polyvinyl chloride. BHT is also an oil-soluble antioxidant widely used at home and abroad. Because of its strong antioxidant capacity, good heat resistance and stability, no specific odor, no color reaction when encountering metals, and low price, it is the main antioxidant in our country. It can be used in edible oils, fried foods, and biscuits. The maximum usage amount is 0.2g/kg.
